Minibreak
Leaving Worthing, we enjoy a coffee break en-route, then lunchtime stop in New Arlesford before heading to Portsmouth for our afternoon ferry to Fishbourne.
We check in at Bembridge Coast Hotel, which overlooks the Solent and was once owned by George V’s Lord in Waiting. There is plenty to do, including a chance to enjoy its lovely coastal walks or why not try archery, bowls or rifle shooting with tuition from one of the team. The hotel also has a swimming pool, fitness suite and beauty treatments salon.
Entertainment, with live music and dancing each evening, including a Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons Tribute act on Saturday. A short island day trip during the day on Saturday, visiting Godshill, Shanklin Old Town and Newport. Free day on Sunday.
Home on Monday, via the ferry from Yarmouth to Lymington, with a lunchtime stop at Lyndhurst in the New Forest and another short afternoon break on the way.
